  Originated in France, Tecktonik, or tck as it is sometimes called, is a blend of hip hop and techno dance. The style includes elements of each, including popping and locking.  It has grown in popularity through Europe through word of mouth and video sharing sites. In September of 2007, it received a lot of attention when it was featured at the 2007 Paris Techno Parade. 
  Typical tecktonik dress includes tight jackets and jeans and neon color shirts. Dancers sometimes also wear makeup designs..
